Intended for a returning male veteran of the military who has not completed
his education. It is preferable that the candidate had begun but did not complete
a college degree. However, when such a candidate does not exist, an incoming freshman
may receive the scholarship. The candidate must be a highly motivated student who
–through his military and life experiences – recognizes the importance of academic
achievement. In spirit, the scholarship is intended for a former “underachiever” who
is motivated to achieve. Candidates pursuing AS or BS degrees in the Natural Sciences
(biology, chemistry, physics, biotechnology, geology, astronomy) or Mathematics may

a sincere interest in pursuing a career in the Thoroughbred Breeding or Racing industries
in New York State upon graduation.  Faculty who work closely with the students should
recommend the students  New York Wildlife Scholarship The recipient will be a continuing student in the Department of Fisheries, Wildlife
& Environmental Studies.  Preferably the student will have financial need a minimum
GPA of 3.0.  In addition, the student recipient will be an active member of a campus
wildlife/outdoors club.  This scholarship must be used toward non-tuition educational
expenses that a student incurs in their full-time pursuit of a Bachelor or Associates

Scholarship
Returning student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 majoring in Agricultural Engineering,
Animal Science (excluding equine), Fisheries & Wildlife or Plant Science. Student
must be a US citizen attending SUNY Cobleskill from outside NYS. Scholarship is renewable
provided satisfactory academic progress is maintained and criteria continues to be
met. Renewing the scholarship will be determined by the donor each year. Annual amount
to be awarded (payable by semester) is $500.00 per recipient. A. Lindsay and Olive B. O’Connor Foundation Scholarship Students who are Delaware  county residents w/ academic achievement and participated
in extracurricular activities. Renewable w/2.50 GPA. (2014-2015 award year 2.5-2.99/80-89
GPA=$2500 award; 3.0-4.0/90-100 GPA=$3,000 award) Kevin and Roberta O’Donnell Family Scholarship Endowment Continuing student with a minimum GPA of 2.5 preferably majoring in Culinary Arts
or Business and having financial need.  Student must also participate in community
service activities and provide documentation of community service performed. Ken and Jane Olcott Scholarship Endowment Continuing bachelor students in Ag Engineering with a minimum of at 3.0.  Preference
given to students with experience in Post Secondary Ag Student (PAS) organization. 
If an eligible student with experience in PAS is not found, experience in other campus

Ottman Scholarship For students who have completed their consort ‘s academic degree ( two years ) at SUNY Cobleskill and are continuing their pursuit of a four-year degree at SUNY Cobleskill or students who have directly entered into a four-year academic degree program at SUNY Cobleskill. Preference will be given to residents of Schoharie County and who have attended all four of their secondary school years at either Middleburgh or Cobleskill-Richmondville High School. Scholarship Endowment
Students graduating from SUNY Cobleskill with an associates degree, who will be enrolled
at another institution in an academic program resulting in a degree related to Math
or Science.  Preference shall be given to students graduating with an AS degree in
Health Science Studies and enrolled in the Early Assurance to Medical School Program.
The recipient must graduate with a 3.5 GPA or better. The recipient must have made
a positive contribution to the campus community whether it be through participation
in Student Government, sports or some other extracurricular activity.  This is not
a financial need based scholarship. Kristen Peck Memorial Scholarship Endowment For incoming and continuing students who are pursuing an Agricultural and Natural
Resources major who have demonstrated academic achievement, exhibit strong leadership
qualities and actively participate in FFA and/or 4H. Pointer-Corti Scholarship for Health and Emergency Services Endowment

Student recipients must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. 
Recipients will preferably be non-traditional students, and preferably from Schoharie
County.  In addition, student recipients will preferably be in a health or emergency
services curriculum.  Secondary consideration will be given to students in the canine
training and management program.  This scholarship must be used toward non-tuition
educational expenses that a student incurs in their full-time pursuit of a Bachelor
or Associates degree at SUNY Cobleskill. Lt. Col. Leo A. Polinsky Scholarship Endowment Continuing or internal transfer (preference given to internal transfers) Bachelor
of Technology students majoring in Ag and Natural Resources.  Must have a 3.25 or
higher college GPA. Thomas Pray Scholarship Award Endowment This eruditeness award is intended to assist a recent SUNY Cobleskill alumnus in their adjacent phase of life and represents the authorization and assurance SUNY Cobleskill imparts to its students. Recipient will have the most improved GPA since entrance to SUNY Cobleskill. The student ‘s GPA at the get down of their last semester will be compared to GPA upon starting at the College. The recipient role will be graduating with a Bachelor ‘s degree in an agrarian course of study ( excluding Culinary Arts ). The eruditeness prize is $ 2,500 and will be made during the student ‘s last semester . Mark D. Printsky Endowed Scholarship Recipients will be continuing, full-time students in the turfgrass course of study who demonstrate good oeuvre ethic, commitment to the turfgrass diligence, and concern in classes. The successful recipient will be a good steward, who possesses a commitment to promoting and fostering an understanding and appreciation of all natural resources, embracing both tried-and-true and up-to-date methods, to ensure they stay feasible for the adjacent generation and beyond. scholar recipient should be well rounded, hardworking and a fun loving person that is civic minded. Applicants need to provide a letter of recommendation from a faculty penis and write a 200-500 word essay that shares their SUNY Cobleskill experience and how they meet the criteria. or Rescue Squad (with verification by the Chief of the Fire Department, Captain of

or graduate of a Schoharie County high school who has evidence of academic ability,
personal initiative and financial need. Students should have a 90 or higher high school
average and a 1000 or higher SAT composite or 21 or higher ACT composite. Schopinsky Family Scholarship Endowment Based on academic performance and community service.  Minimum of four scholarships
and a maximum of  8. The four shall consist of a freshman, sophomore (two year school)
and junior and senior (in the four year academic program).  The remaining (up to four)
shall be all second year students in the two year program, for which the college was
founded and that which the Schopinsky family members attended.    Schopinsky Scholars Scholarship Criteria as defined by the contract with the Schopinsky Family, the Columbus Foundation

Agricultural courses while a full time college student; 18 of which must have been

in an Agricultural Business bachelor degree program for the upcoming fall semester.

Recruiting an incoming female majoring in John Deere Tech with input from the Ag Engineering
faculty. The student should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B average) and financial need
is not required.  Isabel Skowfoe Endowed Scholarship Recipients will be full-time SUNY Cobleskill students who have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Preference will be given to students in Communications, Graphic Design or English
programs. The scholarship is renewable provided recipients continue to meet criteria.
This scholarship must be used toward non-tuition educational expenses that a student
incurs in their full-time pursuit of a Bachelor or Associates degree at SUNY Cobleskill. Elbridge M. and Edna W. Smith Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship Endowment Continuing student who has demonstrated financial need and has earned a first semester
or first year 3.5 or higher GPA, thereby qualifying academically for Phi Theta Kappa
membership. Society of Ag Eng Tech Scholarship Endowment Awarded to an incoming freshman Ag Eng major that has been active in FFA, 4-H, or
Skills USA.  Priority should be give to an officer of one of these organizations with
additional considerations for other extracurricular activities.  This students should
have at least an 85 high school gpa.   Soil Science Bachelor Scholarship Endowment Ag first-year or returning bachelor student specializing in Soil Science Stacy Family Scholarship Endowment  Criteria to be determined. discharge must be either general, general under honorable conditions or honorable.
The student must be active in SUNY Cobleskill SVA (active defined as attending minimum

in an Agriculture and Natural Resources major, 2nd preference is given to a student
in a Liberal Arts and Sciences major. Student recipient should be an active member
of the SUNY Cobleskill Woodsmen Club as verified by the club advisor. Should the club
ever be dispersed, the funds should be distributed equally among all agriculture related

Continuing Dairy Production Management major with a minimum GPA of 3.0.  Student should
possess a high level of commitment to the dairy industry.  Experience and success
in youth dairy judging contests is preferred.  Financial need is not required.   Matthew P.S. Tweedie Memorial Scholarship Endowment Continuing Ag major in the AAS or Bachelor program who is an active and participating
member of the American Animal Producers Club.  Student must have at least a 2.5 GPA. 
Preference given to those with a financial need and to former or current 4-H and FFA
members.  A 500 word essay (stating ideals, goals, future endeavors and how will degree
at Cobleskill be used for future growth) is also required. Michael and Mary Ann S. Ty Endowment  This endowment was established to promote SUNY Cobleskill student engagement in the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs United States Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition. Award recipients will be full-time students pursuing a culinary Arts degree at SUNY Cobleskill. Recipients will be upperclassmen who demonstrate high academic bore ( lone Culinary Arts coursework should be considered in this evaluation ). Should all criteria continue to be met, the award is renewable the follow year .

Must have fiscal need and be a Agricultural Engineering student with 22 of more credit already completed . Michael R. Wacksman Leadership Endowed Scholarship Continuing student who is active in the campus community including community service. 
Student recipient should participate in leadership workshops and leadership opportunities. 
Minimum GPA of 2.5 and Financial need is required. James Douglas Warner `66 and Bernard E. Slate `65 Scholarship Endowment The recipient shall be entering their junior year in the Bachelor of Business Administration
program with a preference given to students residing in Schoharie County; Lewis, St.
Lawrence or Jefferson County can also be considered.  The selected student should
have good leadership skills and be active in student affairs at SUNY Cobleskill.
