D-NOW 2021 is here ! ! The first event of 2022 for GSM is going to be harebrained ! This class, we ‘re talking about abiding in Jesus, and how that reveals to us how we can be our true, authentic selves. With knock-down teaching from Nick Hurst, and AWESOME worship from DBU Chapel Worship, it ‘s going to be a weekend you for sure do n’t want to miss.

 What is D-NOW?

disciple immediately ( D-NOW ) is a weekend retreat/conference consequence for 6th-12th grade students. Friday night to Sunday dawn, students will participate in bombastic group worship, little group Bible studies, and Saturday afternoon outreach/recreation. church members host the students in their homes, organized by grade and sex, and each group is led by college students, all cleared with background checks, exhaustive interviews, and appropriate educate. DATES : February 18-20, 2022
cost : $ 75 per scholar ( $ 65 for each extra sibling )
situate : You can secure your adjustment with a $ 25 deposition per scholar.

cost includes event registration, allow materials ( little group booklets, etc. ), all meals, and a jersey.

WHERE is D-NOW?

D-NOW combines events at multiple locations across Parker County. Please see the list below for all the information : • Greenwood BC : check-in, Small group # 4, and Check-out
• North Side BC : boastfully group worship, little group # 2, Saturday lunch
• Host Homes ( GBC Members ) : little groups, meals, students besides stay the nights here.

WHO CAN  GO TO D-NOW?

All students presently in grades 6-12 are eligible to attend D-NOW.

CAN STUDENTS BRING PHONES TO D-NOW?

Yes. Students are allowed to bring their phones to D-NOW. however, if the call proves to be excessively much of a distraction during big group or small group times, or at night around or during bedtime, college leaders and scholar pastors may take them up until the adjacent sidereal day, or until the session is over. Some leaders may besides require students to all charge their phones at night in the lapp space to ensure they are not a distraction or keeping students awake excessively former.

WHO IS SPEAKING/LEADING WORSHIP?

Nick Hurst

Speaker

Born and raised in Live Oak, Florida, Nick received his margin call to preach the religious doctrine at Crossroads Summer Camp in July 2012. From here, Nick began to lead unlike clubs and groups in high school, which presented opportunities to preach and communicate the gospel to his peers. Since 2015, Nick has served as head evangelist for The HowToLife Movement and has traveled and preached the gospel for unlike churches and events throughout the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. Nick is an alumnus of Liberty University where he received his bachelor of Science in Biblical & Theological Studies. He and his wife, Chelsea, presently reside in Greenville, SC with their son, Hudson.

DBU Chapel Worship is a collection of students from Dallas Baptist University who lead the scholar consistency during campus-wide weekly Chapel services. The students involved desire to lead their peers through authentic and dear worship of a holy place and sleep together God. Throughout its history, DBU has had one mission – “ to transform the lives of students who will transform the world. ” We come aboard that mission to facilitate transformation in the lives of DBU students, while besides being transformed ourselves through education, discipleship, and train.
