PARTY DETAILS as told by Mindy…
I wanted to do a vintage county fair theme for my son ’ s beginning birthday. I found an tempt that I fell principal over heels for and basically planned the integral consequence around it. Most of the elements of the party were DIY. I sewed all the bunting myself, my husband made the “ pet menagerie ” from a wardrobe box, and the games were all DIY .
Games
A can toss made of leave over formula containers covered in scrapbook paper, a attic bag pass made with baskets from the dollar store and bean bags I made with left over material, and a darling match where children matched the colors on the bottom of condom duckies.
Activities
A “ pony ride, ” on a rock sawhorse, a hayride in a crimson beach wagon filled with hay, a ball pit, an art station, petting menagerie barn, and a “ urine coral. ” Lastly, we had a photobooth made with PVC shriek and a kin heirloom quilt .
Food
We served typical average food — soft pretzels, corn dogs, popcorn, kettle corn, fruit, and veggies. The deserts were a darling though. The sweets hutch included : blueberry and smasher miniskirt, pies, churros, cotton candy, and yellowish brown apple bites. For beverages we offered lemonade, adult lemonade, Coke, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and water. rather of coat, Grayson eat blueberry proto-indo european ! He loved every bite !
Party Favors
Each child got to take a “ goldfish ” home with them as a choice, which was actually a fictile pisces in ripple bathroom .
