After competing on Food Network ’ s “ Spring Baking Championship ” Christine Nguyen, owner and lead cake architect of The Sweet Boutique Bakery in Sugar Land, used what she learned and what she baked on the picture to save her business. SUGAR LAND, Texas – Small commercial enterprise owners have had to get creative to stay adrift during the COVID-19 pandemic, but one local anesthetic baker had no mind her preservation grace would come in the shape of a simple doughnut.
